WHAT IS UPCYCLE ART?
Upcycle art is a form of creative expression that reimagines and repurposes discarded or unused materials into new works of art. Unlike traditional recycling, which breaks down materials into raw components, upcycling gives new life to existing objects by transforming them into something of higher value or quality. It celebrates ingenuity, resourcefulness, and sustainability, as artists breathe new life into old items, giving them new purpose and beauty. It invites viewers to reconsider the potential of everyday objects and encourages a deeper appreciation for the beauty that can be found in unexpected places.
